The DeckForge AI template license

Plain-English answers to "can I use this template for X?" — followed by the formal license text. Short version: yes, almost always.

The short version

Every template in the DeckForge AI library is free to use for personal and commercial purposes. You can use templates for client work, internal company decks, public talks, conference presentations, marketing material, social posts, books, courses, and product launches. You do not need to credit DeckForge AI, although a link back is always appreciated.

The one thing you cannot do is repackage and resell our templates as your own product, or relist them on a competing template marketplace. That is the whole rule.

Specific scenarios

Can I use a template in a paid client deliverable? Yes.

Can I edit the template heavily and call the result mine? Yes. Once you adapt a template for your own use, the resulting deck is yours. You do not owe us a credit, and you do not need to ask permission.

Can I use slides from the template in a paid course or e-book? Yes, provided the slides are part of a larger original work and not the primary product itself.

Can I export the template as a PDF and host it on my company intranet? Yes.

Can I add my company logo and use the template across the organization? Yes. Many of our most active users are in-house operations and finance teams who standardize on a single DeckForge AI template across the company.

Can I post the template on Slideshare or another sharing site? Yes, as long as it is your filled-in version of the deck and not the empty template.

Can I redistribute the empty template as part of a "free templates" pack on my own site? No. Please link to the DeckForge AI page for the template instead. This keeps attribution clear and lets users see the most up-to-date version.

Can I use the template for a political or religious organization? Yes. We do not gatekeep based on the content of your message.

Trademarks and third-party assets

Our templates are designed without any third-party logos, brand marks, or copyrighted photography. Stock-style placeholder images are AI-generated and free to swap out. If you add a third-party logo or photograph to your version of the deck, you are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use it.

Fonts

Templates use fonts that are either bundled with Google Slides and PowerPoint by default or available under a permissive open-source font license. If you substitute a different font in your version of the deck, ensure that font's license permits your intended use.

Attribution

Attribution is appreciated but not required. If you would like to credit us, a small "Template by DeckForge AI" line in the deck appendix or a link from your blog is more than enough.

Warranty

Templates are provided "as is" with no warranty. We have reviewed every template for quality, but we cannot guarantee that any template is fit for a specific high-stakes purpose. For regulated industries — legal, medical, financial disclosure — please review the deck against your own compliance standards before publishing.

Changes to this license

If we update this license, the updated text applies to templates you download after the change date. Templates you have already downloaded remain governed by the license that was in effect at the time of download. You can always check the current version on this page.
